This week’s topic is: Top Ten Most Recent 5-Star Books

This is a great topic because I have read some fantastic books over the past couple months. I’m pretty stingy with my 5 star (flame) ratings so I probably won’t make it to 10, but then I’ll move on to 4 stars to make the full list.

So without further ado, and in no real particular order, here are the last books I’ve read that I gave a 5 Flame rating to:

1.

Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. You can read my review here.

A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab. I have not written a review of this one yet because I have been lazy. It will be up soon I swear!

The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh. Omg this book. I’m dying for the sequel. Read the fangirling review here.

Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. While the ending of this series went a bit downhill for me, this first book was amazing! Read my review here.

Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. Need I say more? Read the review here.

Harry Potter Illustrated Edition by JK Rowling and Jim Kay. Because how could you give this anything but 5 stars?! (No review. Not sure if I’ll do one or not…)
