Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Who doesn’t love a good list?
This week’s topic is: Top Ten Books on my Spring TBR List
This is an easy week! I have so many books that I need to get to, I’ve actually put myself on a buying ban for the next two months. (We’ll see how long that actually lasts…)
I tend to not make monthly TBR lists because I like to read based on my mood at any current moment. It’s like trying to make lunch plans with a friend weeks in advance – how am I supposed to know what I’ll be hungry for that day? But since I know I won’t be buying any more books, here are the ones I’m planning on reading over the next few months (until May when my book buying ban is over and there are a TON of new releases coming out).
1.
A Gathering of Shadows by V.E. Schwab
2.
Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
3.
Harry Potter by JK Rowling
I’ve been trying to find time to fit in a reread of Harry Potter for a while now and I can no longer deny the urge. I haven’t read them since college so it’s been about 5 years which means I am long overdue.
4.
Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock by Matthew Quick
5.
Hello? By Liza Wiemer
I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway and it’s annotated by the author! I’m excited to get to it – it’s set in Wisconsin (where I live) and it sounds like there will be some familiar locations which will make it all the more fun to read.
6.
All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr
7.
An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
8.
The Distance From Me to You by Marina Gessner
This one has been on my TBR list for ages so I think it’s finally time to knock this one out.
9.
Riders by Veronica Rossi
10.
Curtsies & Conspiracies by Gail Carriger
And that’s it! I’m trying to pound through as many books as I own before May because I have at least 4 that I want to buy that come out May 3rd.
What does your TBR list look like for Spring? Have you read any of these? Let me know in the comments!
Awesome choices! I’m in the middle of reading Harry Potter too! 3 More to go 😛
