WWW Wednesday is a book meme run by Sam at Taking on a World of Words.
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
So let’s get to it!
What are you currently reading?
A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab
It seems like everyone and their mom is talking about this book because A. it’s awesome, B. The sequel just came out, and C. Gerard Butler’s production company is in the works of making it into a TV show. I’m about halfway done and loving it so far. The world-building is seriously fantastic.
Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour by Morgan Matson
I’m listening to this one on audio in the mornings while I get ready for work. I loved Since You’ve Been Gone and I’ve heard people say that this one is better. It’s been around since 2010 and I just never picked it up. It’s decent so far.
What did you recently finish reading?
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
I was slightly disappointed by this book. Everyone raves about it but I thought the first half (or even more than that) was slow and boring. I’m excited for the sequel but I doubt I’ll read it immediately when it comes out. Full review will be up later this week.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 8 Library Edition Volumes 3 and 4
These were good! The 4th one got a little weird not going to lie. Reading these just makes me want to watch the show again for the umpteenth time.
What do you think you’ll read next?
A Gathering of Shadows by V.E. Schwab
I ordered this book from Barnes an Noble when I was about a quarter of the way through the first book. Hopefully it comes by the time I finish reading ADSOM!
How was your week? What are you reading now?
Ahh! Finish the Schwab books so we can have fake book club at Applebees!
